Kusuriya no Hitorigoto

I’m conflicted with this story. I love the manga, but the novel is hard to get into. It might be the translation quality is too harsh. It’s awkward to read and I have to reread often to get the gist of things. I get the feeling the story would really shine with a better translation.

Overall the characters and plot are wonderful. It’s different from your usual story because our protagonist is sharp and forthright. Characters are multidimensional and interesting. The romance is a slow burner. The Prince getting blocked is delicious to read. =)
