Larisa needed a doll.

And into her hands walked Pavel, the kingdom’s finest man, willingly.

Blushing shyly, revealing the affection he had hidden all along.

“If it’s what you want, I’ll do anything.”

“If it’s your will, I’ll do whatever it takes.”

No matter how tightly she grasped and shook him, no matter how much she made him suffer or humiliated him, Pavel only looked at her and obeyed.

Larisa grew increasingly afraid.

No, she was afraid of herself, of how she was beginning to falter because of him.

So she abandoned him.

She never imagined they would meet again under such circumstances.

“I’ll make sure that an absurd marriage doesn’t happen.”
