Wang Liulang

Wang Liulang is a Chinese folklore tale of friendship, sacrifice, and moral integrity. It follows Xu, a fisherman, and Wang Liulang, a ghost who aids him as thanks for his respect toward spirits. Their bond transcends life and death, culminating in Wang’s selfless decision to forgo reincarnation to spare a mother and child.
