The Widower NPC in the Infinite Deployment Game

Jiang Yan, who is indifferent, without desires or illnesses, suddenly finds himself inexplicably transported into the game after taking a nap. While others are players, he has become an NPC.

From a newlywed bride in a deserted village to a dying patient in an abandoned hospital; from a little lamb waiting to be slaughtered, held captive by hunters in a wild forest, to the widow of a sick paper effigy shop owner in the suburbs of the capital.

As players clear each level, Jiang Yan escapes from each one. His character design in each instance is either a deceased wife or husband.

System: “Ding! Ask the bride about the deceased village chief’s son’s background.”

Player 1: “Why is this bride a guy?”

Player 2: “It’s probably a bug; don’t worry about the details.”

Newcomer: “Can I ask who this NPC Jiang Yan is?”

All Players: “Don’t ask! Just know he’s a bug!”

Others come to this game for their obsessions, while Jiang Yan entered because he is someone’s obsession.
