OnGoing
I’m Violeta Estrisen, and I’ve spent six years as the chief aide to the fastidious Crown Prince. Those six years have been nothing but work, work, work, and more work. One day, I finally snapped: “I can’t live like this forever! I want to leave work on time too!”
Since quitting wasn’t an option, there was only one solution available to me – marriage. By imperial law, companies were prohibited from making married employees work overtime. A life with evenings to myself, leaving work right on schedule… Yes, marriage was definitely the answer.
“Time to try blind dates.”
On the day of my first blind date, the sky was clear and my spirits were soaring.
“Chief Violeta, what’s on your face? There seems to be something…”
“I have a blind date this evening. I can’t exactly show up bare-faced to such an occasion.”
“A… blind… date…?”
I arrived at the dating venue with my heart fluttering, confident enough to brush off any interference from the Crown Prince.
Everything was perfect – the match, the atmosphere – until he showed up.
“Your Highness, what brings you here…?”
“As your superior, how could I possibly stay away when my subordinate is having a blind date?”
Why are you suddenly acting like this?! As if ruining my blind date wasn’t enough, the Crown Prince then issued an absurd command…
“Write a report listing five of my positive qualities and charms.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“That’s an order. If you don’t submit it today, you’re not leaving work.”
Will I ever get to leave work?
What about marriage?
What in the world is wrong with this man?!
