Rascally Thug

In a post-apocalyptic world where genetic modification is commonplace, Kotal, a former test subject, carries the memory of his deceased moonlight (first love) in his heart. His lonely life changes when he meets the small-time thug Han Jin, causing his deadened heart to gradually beat again. Han Jin also has his own moonlight, and the moment he meets Kotal, he recognizes him as his own “deceased” moonlight.

Han Jin tries to reveal himself: “Actually, I…”

Kotal coldly interrupts: “Sorry, I already have someone I care about. Don’t flatter yourself.”

Han Jin: “Fine, I just want you for your looks!”

Han Jin becomes wanted and hunted by Kotal, who won’t rest until he’s caught. During the pursuit, Han Jin’s identity as a former test subject is exposed, leaving Kotal with complicated feelings. He awkwardly interacts with Han Jin, stubbornly insisting that he’s only treating him as a substitute for his deceased moonlight.

Unaware of the truth, Han Jin thinks Kotal has forgotten him and begins an absurd plan to “replace himself” in pursuit of his love. Kotal struggles internally: “I can’t forget him. It’s not fair to you.”

Han Jin pretends to be generous: “It’s fine, I’ll just treat you as my lover.”

When the moment of recognition arrives, Kotal must pay for his violent and malicious behavior.

Kotal: “Baby, don’t be angry.”

Han Jin laughs coldly: “Are you sick in the head, ‘lover’?”
