Synopsis:

The path of a healer is ever-changing. Luo Shang first studied the I Ching (Book of Changes) and then medicine, mastering both the art of healing and the mysteries of numerology.

Due to an accident, she was reborn in the 1980s, transmigrating into the body of a young traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) doctor at Qingzhou Eighth Hospital’s TCM department. However, her timing was far from ideal. The hospital was undergoing reforms, planning to cut most of its TCM staff and outsource the department. Luo Shang was among those to be let go.

It wasn’t until he fell ill with a high fever and his grandfather sent him to her clinic that he realized he had been wrong.

When Luo Shang’s family came to visit, they saw a sturdy young man helping out at the clinic.

Luo Shang introduced him: “This is my landlord.”

Han Chen: “…Hmph. I’m ‘Brother Han’ when you need me, but just your landlord otherwise. Am I just a tool to you?”
