In this cruel test, the species with lower levels of evolution and simpler structures adapted faster. The lower the IQ, the more ignorant and fearless the animal is. And what about humans?

Human beings avoid the sun because they are afraid of danger and would rather live in darkness.

The protagonist, an ant tribe*, suffered the attack of the end of the world, lay on his deathbed, and silently confessed that the thing he felt most guilty about was when back in high school he abandoned a sick puppy and didn’t save it. After rebirth, he did not give up on the puppy again but made a different choice. Then one day, this dog named Rhubarb said that he was a descendant of the Inugami*.

What are the benefits of being a descendant of the Celestial Inugami? It is, of course, cultivation. However, Rhubarb said that the Dog Clan’s way of cultivation is not taught to outsiders. If one wants to cultivate, one can only marry into the clan.
