Since the appearance of the monsters, a strange, new disease spread. Untreatable by existing medicine, a sickness only curable by a skilled person. The people called it the demon’s disease.

After the monsters showed up, a disease that never existed before had spread. It was impossible to cure it with existing medical knowledge. The illness only got better when treated by those with supernatural powers. The people came to commonly call it the Monster’s Disease.
