Aiden quietly reached out his hand, observing her face full of wounds. Then, he gently caressed her recent injury on her palm.
In that state, he couldn’t take his eyes off Asralda, seemingly tense for a long while.
Three days ago, Astralda’s voice echoed in his ears and still lingered in his mind.
“My sister died. Eight years ago.”
