Nonsensical Romance

Do Jaehyuk, a third-year student in the Physical Education department, was dazzling and stood out more than anyone else. He was so noticeable that you could spot him from afar. That’s why Daeun didn’t even glance his way; she hated anything that drew attention.

“We see each other almost every day, at night, just the two of us.”

“…You’re talking weird. I was just buying ice cream at the convenience store.”

“Yeah, to see you.”

Yet, the man effortlessly tries to break down Daeun’s defenses.

“Have you ever tried junk food?”

“I’ve never had it.”

“Really?”

“I’m not interested.”

Her soft voice fills the quiet room. Jaehyuk fiddle with her hair, his gaze fixed on the glimpses of her pale neck.

“You know what junk food tastes like. You’ve had it, don’t pretend otherwise.”

His hand slides to her neck, cupping her chin. He tilts her head and kisses her lips as if entranced.

“Don’t you remember now?”
