After returning from another world, former hero Kyosuke Todo finds himself caught in a chaotic romantic comedy.

In June of his freshman year of high school, Kyosuke was brutally attacked. While his consciousness wavered, he was summoned to the fantasy world of Alefgard as the Hero of Mankind, destined to defeat the Demon King.

Told that he would be able to return to his original world after the Demon King’s defeat, Kyosuke spent over five years training and fighting. Finally, the moment arrived when he confronted the Demon King. But just as Kyosuke was about to land the finishing blow, he was betrayed by his companions and perished alongside the Demon King.

When he awoke, he was back in his original world… but in the same body as five years ago.
