“Did you marry me because I look like her?”

Song-hyun asked, her voice trembling. Yoon Seung-ha’s expression remained cold and unreadable.

Song-hyun had always harbored feelings for her boss, Yoon Seung-ha. After a business trip to Busan, they grew closer, and eventually, she found herself pregnant and married to him. But…

“I heard he tried to run away with that woman. He wanted to live with her, even though she had his brother-in-law’s child.”

The cold, measured voice echoed in her mind, and it was then that Song-hyun finally learned the truth.

“Song-hyun.”

He called her name softly, and when she didn’t respond, a large hand lifted her chin. Song-hyun stared at him blankly, the man in front of her feeling like a stranger once again—never like a husband.
